The OmniMediaWall makes it possible to present selected files and websites to multiple users in a multiuser touch environment.
Through multitouch, users can simultaneously view different files, browse through websites, view Google Maps and (YouTube) Videos.
The media can be scaled and rotated through multitouch gestures.
Besides viewing it is also possible to draw and make notes directly on the media. OmniMediaWall is the ultimate multitouch presentation tool!
Preloader that indicates that the system is working-processing.
Menu, a main overview which displays the content in the first folder. You can swipe through items. You can go to deeper levels (folders within folders) with new content. Each level displays a new strip of content items.You can go to a higher level or top (first level) by touchhing the name of that level. Omnitapps shows 3 levels at once. (like stacked layers)
Canvas, each selected item is displayed on the canvas (main stage). There you can scale, move, resize with multitouch gestures. Each type of content has it`s own controls. e.g. PDF has pagebrowse buttons, the videoplayerhas videocontrols and images have drawing tools.
Drawing, content items, PDF, Video and websites have a drawing option. With a touch of a button you can draw on the item with simple tools such as free draw and straight line draw. Adjustments tools such as line thickness, line colour and a eraser. When done you can SAVE you item as a image to be stored in a folder configured in the configurator.
Video, when selected from the menu your video has playercontrols, such as a play, pause and a dragger (scrubber) to swipe through the video content.
Website, depending of the Omnitapps configuration you can free surf within the choosen website. You can browse through the website by clicking it`s hyperlinks. When locking the website page (lock button) you can swipe the contents of the webpage just like scrolling when having a mouse.
Pdf, where you browse through the PDF content (pages) with foreward and back button..
Video's have to be named with one of the extensions flv/f4v/mp4, while the video must be rendered with a h264 video codec. More technical information about the codec you`ll find on the website from adobe: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/402/kb402866.html
Pdfs files (a copy of the original) are automatically converted to an useable format for our software. Big pdf files or pdf files with alot pages (50+) can have a serious impact on performance and can take a long while to convert on first startup.
Images have to be either jpg or png.
Websites are added by using the full website url (including http://) to a text file (.txt)
